Roundness of the Sea

In mathematics the center is a point within any round object keeping the object circumference evenly space. As for the human, the heart it’s referred as the center of who we are, yet it’s on our right side, guarded by our chest.

As the center of a circle, our hearts keeps us well balance as it pumps life to every cell of our body, giving life.

Life also exist in the center of all creatures, even the ones at the bottom of the deep blue sea.

The Ocean, which has always given me a since of roundness, for water brings life, yet water drowns life, it reveals the circle of life in different species.

Anemones, which have unique shapes, beautiful neon-colors and rubbery, slippery texture captivate the imagination.

Sea life is an example of how once light shines on them, light returns from within each being revealing their unique color or colors and design.

20190510_125708.jpg A message is clear. Be aware where you stick around for one never knows what kind of light may shine out of us. Let’s hope, our natural illuminating radiance be the one to be seen by those we encounter in our lifetime.20190510_133137.jpg

In our effort, let’s be as well-rounded as we humanly can by being golden with our words and actions. Allow goodness to radiate beautiful colors from our a caring heart as the sea creatures have demonstrated for the world to see.

Cloudy With a Chance of Change

IMG_20180828_102309_824.jpg

Which clouds do your eyes focus on when you travel?

Is it the darkest ones in the far distance gathering for a storm, or the ones above you ready to release their showers, or the one drifting above the grown, soon to vanish before you draw near?

For me? It was the whitest one of all. It drifted low, rapidly changing, becoming smaller the closer my husband drove around the bend.

Clouds fascinate me. They deliver more than destruction or harm when they release the rain. They provide what’s needed for change to occur.

One day, maybe tomorrow or next spring, change will be seen. Not just by the new growth, but by the maturity and strength of how the tree, the bush or the vine endured the dark, heavy clouds that soon would appear.

Close and Personal

Soon
The snow will melt
The leaf will blow
The new buds will grow

Then;
I must ask,
What change
will occur in me?

What
About you,
Are you ready to
Let go and mature?

🍂CLOSE & PERSONAL🍂

Captured by the wind of doubt leaves one stuck between timidity and distrust.

Get close and see, not the leaf; but yourself. You have much to offer where you exist.

Much like these stuck leafs, they’re a piece of art to be admired – where they’ve landed.

🍂CLOSE & PERSONAL🍂

Curled, we

Often hide

Embarrass self

Our ins and outs

Ups and downs

Seen and unseen

All in all

Right side or reverse

It’s what makes us

Perfectly unique

Let’s be grateful

Instead of shameful

Life’s experiences

Good or bad

Can become

Valuable jewels

Once polished

My Prolific Moments With Nature

Nature is prolific, take time to observe, listen and learn.

VASTNESS
One must cross the immensity ocean of uncertainty, before they climb the summits in their lives.
20180420_094046.jpg

MISCONSEPTION️
Sometimes the mounts right before us are piles made from clearing a way to move forward. Let’s not treat them as barriers.

20180418_173827.jpg

DISTRACTIONS
Before distractions bloom, we should take a good look at what’s before us. Let’s not overlook the fact that, we just might be able to move right or left to avoid the distraction all together. Yes, it could be that simple.

RESTORING HOPE
Day’s duty flees aspiration. Sunset diminishes failure. Moments reflect past lessons. Faith restores tomorrow’s hope. Night gives a soul much-needed restoration.

SOUL THIEF
A chilling wind called my name as it gently swayed the golden grass.

My soul drifted to the grassy side while my body stood on an icy road.

In no time, my body joined my soul and I whispered, “Alaska, why do you try to steal my soul? I’m already yours.”

Glimmering Glee

BACK ON MARCH 30 – It was a beautiful sunny day in Anchorage, Alaska and all I wanted was to feel the sun’s warmth as the chilled air-cooled my face.20180418_153353.jpg

Believe me, on this day, this trail was busy with walkers, bikers and cross-country skiers. Oh, I almost forgot, also man’s best friend, doggies. It was safe, yet I remain alert.20180418_152131.jpgThe peace and tranquility in the Alaska’s outdoors is addicting. I can’t ever get enough. On this day, I couldn’t wait to find a place to lose myself in. Mentally speaking.20180331_121537.jpg

The beauty this trail revealed created bubbles of happiness inside me. If I could have, I would have giggled as I twirled. I would have spun until the ground would have become unstable.

But, I didn’t.20180402_181547

20180403_122933.jpg20180402_182021.jpg20180402_181939.jpg

I did feel drunk from the purest blue sky, that I thought I heard the spread out tree arms clap faster and faster as if to encourage me to go ahead spin and set my soul free. 20180418_152849.jpg

Even though I only imagined, my soul did become filled with glee from the glimmering snow. I felt very much like a child as I roamed, photograph and dreamed by myself, but never once did I feel alone.

20180418_152715.jpgI hope you enjoyed this place like I did.

Why? I Don’t Know

I’m not sure why tree trunks have captivated me recently.

Maybe, because of their glistening colors at sunset.

IMG_20180327_144721_736.jpg

Or maybe, they impress me on how they endured the harsh winter weather.

What they needed to lose, their outer skin, and weak branches, were for them to be able to expand and grow.

IMG_20180327_144721_732.jpg
Besides the fallen branches were not strong enough to endure the snow, ice and winds.

Hum . . . maybe that’s why I experience losses this past season of life.

I need to let go and grow.

IMG_20180327_144721_734.jpg

Well, I’m ready to expand my horizon and shine with a smile when the sunsets come.

With God’s help, I will carry on.

Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge ~ Beauty On The Ordinary

When snow cuddle and stay on limbs and leaves, it accents and contrast shapes and colors sending an overwhelming feeling of wonder over me,

The definition created by the snow on the tree below enchanted me like a painting in a museum. It’s beauty held me hostage in the freezing cold for a while as I study the detail of its fan out branches. Finally I took photos and when on my walk.

20180217_034639.jpg

Snakes of snow rested against the limbs highlighting the path each limb took making me chose which branch my eyes were going to follow.

20180217_034932.jpg

Tiny, tiny dots against the white snowy sky, pulled my soul high, that I felt myself leave the grown. Suddenly, a heavenly scent of cleanliness came over me as  snow gently landed over me.

20180217_035121.jpg

Like cradles, leafs and twigs collected clusters of snowflakes. They twinkle as they were held. As if the leaves or the twigs were too afraid for the snow to fall, they seemed frozen in their position.

20180217_022449.jpg

Branches spread in many different paths towards the sky caused me to fluster with confusion on which path to follow. But, when I looked down towards the tree’s trunk I remembered, they all aimed like their trunk, up. I felt peace and assurance that there is truly only one way to reach the heavens above.

Trees and leaves represents many aspects of living life, but they also serve to remind us of a life in a much a waited paradise, heaven on earth.

When Evening Comes

20180120_162411.jpg

When evening enters
A majestic view
Not one sound it makes
While the scene becomes blue

Colors become darker
And the air much colder
Reminding night approaches
Behind one’s shoulder

The coat is zipped
and a sigh is released
For the tranquil blue
whispers, it’s time to leave
